Pelumi Abiara is a young and enthusiastic football administrator that is dedicated to the agenda of using the round leather game to empower talented young Nigerians, particularly those from the grassroots level. He made his foray into football management as the media officer of the Ekiti FA cadet teams.
This role preceded his service as the Chief Operating Officer at the Bet9ja Ekiti Football League. Following that, he was appointed as the scribe of the Ekiti FA in 2021, becoming the youngest Football Association secretary in the West African region gaining further experience in management, administration and coordination as part of a leadership team that devised game-changing programs and landmark actions for football development.
Pelumi Abiara is a graduate of University of Benin, Edo state, and holds a certificate in Sports Business Management from the Prestigious Lagos Business School, Lagos State, Nigeria. He has also gathered knowledge from online studies on "The business of football" from the Open University, the United Kingdom; Sports Marketing from Northwestern University, United States; and Sport Sponsorship.
